From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I sincerely hope that you have been spared from loss and damage from the recent flooding. The last few days have been very difficult for families, students and for the wider community and I acknowledge that this is a difficult time for all of us. For our children, it can also difficult as they may have concerns and worries from how they may have been impacted or from what they have seen – in their community, news outlets or social media. If your child’s requires any support during this time, please contact the school for assistance.
Good luck STEM students at Nationals in Adelaide
Worongary State School is pleased to confirm that our Robotics Team, 19931B are off to the VEX IQ Pitching In Challenge Nationals in Adelaide – this weekend! The team have been working hard for months since the Finals last year to get ready. They have been working on their robot design, engineering notebook and coding, testing and improving before school, break times and even at home in their own time. None of this would be possible without the ongoing involvement and support of their families as we have navigated many challenges including the delayed start to the school year.
Please support and follow our journey #STEMEducation #WSSRobotics
